Join me lakeside on this sunshiny morning as the geese swim and play their goosey games at the lake.
Just keep an eye out for “goose confetti” – they sure love to scatter that crap around!

It’s 9am and the springtime views, sounds of nature, and reflections on the water offer a peaceful morning setting.
Out of nowhere, the sweet “tweetie tweet tweet” of little birdies is overpowered by the thunderous “honkety honk honk” of incoming geese.

As geese populate the water, they appear to be scoping out the area.

Bottoms up!
The first goose dives in – head-down and butt-up – for a tasty under water treat as the second goose supervises the effort.
With a grin on my face, I anxiously wait for the second goose to “goose” the first goose’s exposed back-side but the second goose obviously has no goosey sense of humor.

Across the lake, a few feathered critters gracefully cruise the gentle waters.

Don’t you just love watching geese swim elegantly – and quietly – on the lake? I sure do.

Several goslings search for breakfast in the grassy area but the fuzzy little blobs with legs scoot out of sight as I snap the picture.
My phone camera sometimes delays or crashes altogether. Sometimes I get the picture, sometimes I don’t.
It’s still a peaceful picture!

As our lakeside time comes to a close, let’s take one last gaze at nature’s serenity.
Thanks for coming along! I hope you enjoyed today’s goosey adventure!
